The introduction of the new BF30 further enhances Honda's range of mid size 4-stroke outboards and brings the latest engine technology within easy reach of small boat owners.
Ease of use and kindness to the human component - the person steering the boat! - are the major considerations with this exciting new range.
Firstly the tiller handle has been extended to allow for much lighter steering. In addition the indicator lamp, throttle control, power trim & tilt switch and gear shift lever are all now located on the tiller handle which allows for easier operation due to the ergonomic positioning of the controls. Power trim & tilt, gas assist tilt and increased engine capacity have also been introduced for the new BF30.
Other upgrades include engine performance with the fitment of digital CDI, providing better throttle response and more powerful acceleration and the auto starting enrichment system, which provides operators with easy starting and increased stability while running at idle speed.
Continuing in Honda's tradition of product improvement and environmental responsibility, all these motors comply with the USA CARB 2008 three star rating, ensuring that Honda owners are the cleanest operators on the planet.
